The packages are designed to give you flexibility.
You can choose anything from a fast 2-hour detail for a fresh, clean look, up to a 3-day Ceramic Plus package for the ultimate protection and showroom finish.
It all depends on how new you want your car to look and what fits your budget. You also have the option to add extras to any package, so your vehicle gets exactly the care it needs
The time required for each package is indicated on each of the packages by the label “Time Required”. Note that this time could be longer depending on any additional services you request when your car is inspected to calculate work needed and final pricing.
The pricing is always fair and transparent.
Each package offers different levels of care, but the final cost depends on your car’s size and condition. For example, a larger vehicle like a double cab bakkie requires more work than a smaller hatchback.
If your car is relatively clean when I receive it, the price can be reduced. On the other hand, if the paintwork needs extra correction—such as removing swirl marks or scratches—it may cost more because of the additional time and effort required.
When you drop your car off, I’ll give it a quick inspection and clearly explain what needs to be done, making sure it fits both your budget and expectations.
You have two options for drop-off.
If you’re busy, I can collect your vehicle directly from your location.
The most popular choice, however, is to drop your car off at my location the evening before the work begins. This way, I can start early the next morning without you having to rush before work, making the process smooth and stress-free.
Ceramic coatings are made of SiO₂ (silicon dioxide) that is the main ingredient in glass.
Ceramic coating is like adding a thin, invisible glass shield over your car’s paint. It bonds to the surface and protects it from sun damage, dirt, chemicals, and makes it way easier to clean. Unlike wax, which wears off quickly, ceramic coating can last for years with proper care.
Ceramic coating is like a liquid glass shield that bonds to your car’s paint. But here’s the thing — whatever is on the surface gets stuck underneath. If there are scratches, swirl marks, or contamination like tar or iron, the coating will seal it underneath, and it can actually make those defects stand out more. Removing the scratches and contamination will also make the coating bond better with the paint making it last longer.
Washing alone can’t remove swirl marks, because those are tiny scratches in the clear coat.(That comes from incorrect washing/drying methods). When light hits them, it scatters in different directions, making your paint look dull and hazy.
Polishing gently levels out those valleys, so the surface becomes smooth again. the light reflects straight back to your eyes, giving your car that deep, glossy, mirror-like finish.
A car wash is a quick clean, but detailing is a deep restoration. We don’t just remove dirt. we remove bonded contaminants, polish away swirl marks, condition your interior, and protect the surfaces so they last longer.
It’s about preserving your car’s value, not just making it look clean for a day.
Ceramic coating makes the paint harder and more resistant to (UV) light, swirls and everyday marks, but it’s not bulletproof.
It won’t stop rock chips or deep scratches. Think of it more as a strong shield against sun, dirt, chemicals, and light scrathes(swirl marks).
With proper maintenance, coatings last 3–5 years depending on the product.
The key is proper washing.if you look after it, the coating will keep protecting and shining for years, far longer than wax or sealants.
Car detailing is still a growing market in South Africa, but it has been huge in places like the USA for years.
I believe there’s a real need here for people who love their cars and want them protected, shining, and looking brand new — whether it’s a 20-year-old car with 300,000 km on the clock or the latest Land Cruiser fresh off the showroom floor.
At AJ Detailing, I work on honesty and quality. My goal is simple: to make your car look its absolute best and keep it protected for the long run.
If you’re ever not satisfied with the work, I’ll gladly take the car back until you are. Honesty and customer satisfaction are key! and I can’t wait to bring out the best in your car’s paint, making it look better than new.
